FALL 2015 NEWSLETTER

Hunters Creek Homeowners
FALL 2015 NEWSLETTER

The pool will close October 5, 2015. Davis County Environmental Health provided new signage requirements for the 2015 pool season. New signs were installed in the pool area including “No Life Guard on Duty”, “No Food Beyond this point” and “No Dogs Allowed in Pool Area” to further assist with helping all to understand rules the community pool are governed by. It is recommended that owners bring their cell phones for emergency situations. Emergency contact information is also posted at the pool. The new security camera system installed in the pool assisted with improving security. Providing identities of owners and guests misuse of the pool. Any owner, family member or guest who misuses the pool or any common amenity is subject to fines and loss of use.

A soda vending machine was installed in the pool area for the use and enjoyment of owners and their guests. The vendor providing the free service is Aspen Vending (an Aspen Mountain Partners Company). There is no income to the HOA for this amenity. The board was approached by several members of the community requesting vending machines in the pool area. The decision was made that the soda machines would have the least impact in regards to cleanliness and pool maintenance. Management contacted SentryWest the HOA insurance company for recommendations in regards to insurance as to not add any additional liability to the HOA. Those recommendations and provisions were met by Aspen Vending, who provide all insurance (and costs) in relation to any incidents involving the soda vending machine. Cost of electricity is minimal.

Be advised that all fencing, sheds, and variances to landscaping guidelines must to be approved through the Architectural Review Committee. Send (e-mail) your plan information and the board can usually provide a written approval within 24 - 48 hours. Also all front yard landscape should be installed within 90 days of close of escrow (weather permitting).

James Greer, member of the board created a Hunters Creek Blog hunterscreekhoautah.blogspot.com. This blog contains community specific information including Bylaws, CC&Rs, current happenings and more. Take a moment and check it out. If you have any suggestions for additional information you would like to see let us know. This is a great community resource to assist with community communication.
Please take responsibility for your pets. Owners need to pick up after their pets in common areas. There is a pet station located near the pool for your convenience.

Thanks to all who contact management and members of the board to share concerns and help successfully manage your community.
